FUNNY REVIEW FOR A FUNNY FILM............AAP KA SUROOR.

Now this going to be funny........,everyone is aware of this guy Himesh Reshammiya.......people have made fun of his songs,his singing ability , his style and almost everything which you can associate with him.....but this man came up with an idea which no one could have associated with him......he decided to act!!!!!!

you would be surprised to know that I among those few who actually watched his movie.......

when I find that so few people have actually watched this movie I feel like sharing this experience of mine....so here is a review of his first experiment of which I was a guinea pig......now that I have suffered I want you to suffer too.......

AAP KAA SUROOR – The Moviee

If a year and a half back someone told you Himesh Reshammiya is going to act in a movie that too in a lead role, you would have probably made arrangements for him in the mental asylum. But destiny speaks for itself. The man came, sang, and acted, danced that too with a cap and returned home with a super hit film.

AAP KA SUROOR was such an awaited movie just because of the lead pair. A television director turned musician turned singer turned actor with a fifteen something actress whom people remembered as a child artist in daily soaps.

The story starts of with the murder of a journalist who happens to be the daughter of some German official. The German media and police is flabbergasted and tracks down our poor hero as the accused…..it’s a MISTAAAAAAKE!!!!!!.

Ok,coming back to our hero, superstar HR who hails from India, is off to a month long concert tour in Germany where he gets a huge security cover with stylish cars…….only the producer and God knows why!!!.in no time his concert becomes a hit……expected!!.He gets hold of a beautiful secretary, sings songs with her, and eventually falls in love. given the speed they fall in love, the daddy of the secretary is worried and refuses to their marriage even before they ask for it…..poor chap. but our hero is determined to get his girl, so he jumps into the scene, sings a beautiful song, dances like wood…….and eureka, daddy is ready in no time……god bless this daddy.

In middle of all this there is a lawyer who falls in love with our hero…also happens to sing a hip shaking song with him. But our hero is in SACHHA PYAR with our heroine so disaster strikes…anyways lets move on.

Now HR is dumped in the jail, accused of murder. He is clueless whether he actually murdered her or not. To make sure he escapes from the jail in no time. The media flashes pictures of a sting operation which more or less proves he is guilty..........it’s a MISTAAAAKE AGAIN!!!

Our heroines daddy gets angry and decides to marry her off to someone else……….what’s the hurry daddy??????.So our hero decides to prove he is innocent and starts of by singing a good quality nasal song in beautiful outdoor locations. later he realizes he has been framed by the very bald person who organized the tour (he is a cross between a villain and a comedian).so he hunts him down, gets proofs against him in no time and manages to prove his innocence seconds before the heroine is married off……..such a nail biting finish, a second more and she was gone.

Heroine’s daddy calls off the marriage and decides to get her married to HR again……now please don’t call this off again...phew!!!. Eventually the hero and heroine live happily ever after singing billions of nasal songs!!!!

The film was very stylishly presented but the screenplay was a let down. The director is new and has a lot of ground to cover. From the acting point of view, Himesh despite being wooden does well to show some emotions, the actress is a natural talent.Mallika Sherawat does well with the tiniest of role ever possible and not to forget the hero’s friend Farookh, who does a good job of a comedian.

Overall the film was a nice way for Himesh to begin his acting career. The music was good and hummable…………so best of luck himesh, you have a lot to achieve. As you say “kabhi kisi ko mukkammil jahan nahi milta”.
