IPL and the Indian cricket....

Hello friends!!!! here I am amidst you sharing my first official post regarding something.
ok i know this was supposed to be a story telling blog n all,but its not my fault ,
the examinations are on.....so i will not be able to come up with any story stuff for few more days!!!!!!but till then what i can do is discuss on few other things like IPL and Indian cricketfor instance.........

I know by now you would have got enough of this IPL stuff but this thing never bores anyone.......so what the heck...
The million dollar question is did we gain anything from IPL?????
the obvious answer would be millions of dollars ...............and of course unearthing of local talent.
yes money wise bcci has always been far better than other boards and after this it even got bigger...it has almost become a monster of sorts.....only from ipl it was able to churn up so much money that the Indian government's proposed budget for sports looks like a formality.
many people think think that the ipl has proved that the Aussies are still the best in world cricket!!!! as the winning team was lead by an Aussie ...........but i would beg to differ on this front.
ok Jaipur's success was in a way due to Warne's leadership...but why do we forget that Warne is an Aussie of the past era.........this is the modern era in world cricket an we really need to thing what the current Australian players have done in the tournament and were the any better than their Indian counterparts......even Jaipur could manage a victory on the very last ball........they were not the one sided winners.....they had to toil hard.......and who knows if parthiv patel had not given away that run they could have lost even..........

many people would say, so what...........Watson is the man of the tournament.....and Shaun marsh the orange cap owner................
to this i can only say that gautam gambhir and rohit sharma held the orange cap for a longer period of time.......i wouldn't have been surprised if Hyderabad has done a little well and advanced to the latter stages of the tournament rohit sharma or gautum gambhir could have held it till the end.
just imagine Rohit Sharma a mere youngster with player like Gilchrist and Gibbs in his team still fared better...........even Venugopal did better than Gibbs and Afridi.

yes Shaun marsh has been a revelation of sorts , and if the Australian board manages him well and is given the right opportunities he would certainly be a world beater.........

Watson's success has been good but the performance of Yusuf was simply superb too........
the whole of Jaipur was doing good so their premier all rounders had to do good...
i would say Yusuf has the capacity to become the next Chris Gayle for Indian cricket especially in the shorter and shortest versions of the game........with his accurate line and length bowling and great hitting abilities he is just the kind of man the doctor ordered for the Indian team.........

finally the ipl also proved that Dhoni as a leader has the capability to challenge the very best in cricket and even push them to the last ball........so we can say that Indian cricket is in the hand of a good captain........and with his calm and composed methods hes truly going to take Indian cricket to the next level.............sometimes he even reminds me of the good old days of Sourav Ganguly............and he has something which Ganguly never had in his team .............a pool of good fast bowlers............he struggled to get fast bowlers.......somehow he managed with only Zaheer khan and a one footed Nehra.........but now we have the likes of ishant sharma, shreeshant who are true blooded fast bowlers.......and RP Singh and Munaf Patel who rely on swing......and Irfan Pathan with his vicious cutters........and to top it all we even have the likes of Zaheer and Agarkar with their experience...............
the pool of bowlers have really grown for india. and to top it all indian cricket has also churned up some quality alrounders like irfan and dhoni himself as a batsman wicketkeeper...........

so all i can say is that the Indian cricket has grown considerably and is going to grow in future too..........gone are the days of one sided Aussie dominance..........india has finally arrived.
cheers!!!

i could only agree with whatever has been written barring one

personally i think india always had the potential to challenge australia

its just that when the top order failed that the team caved in else
we have given them good competition

with some good talent this has changed and hopefully stays the same way
